Summary:

The Audit Operations and Resource Manager is responsible for coordinating process improvement initiatives, managing resources effectively, and driving various improvements within the audit department. They will work closely with project managers and department leads to analyze resource needs and optimize utilization to enhance efficiency. The Audit Operations and Resource Manager will also conduct workforce analysis to forecast staffing requirements and implement performance metrics to evaluate resource management effectiveness. The role will be pivotal in resolving resource conflicts and addressing shortages or overages, ensuring smooth semi-annual scheduling functions and running weekly project scheduling calls.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement resource management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with project managers and department leads to understand resource needs.
  • Monitor resource utilization and optimizing efficiency.
  • Conduct workforce analysis to forecast staffing needs.
  • Implement performance metrics and evaluating resource management effectiveness.
  • Resolve resource conflicts and addressing shortages or overages.
  • Lead semi-annual scheduling functions.
  • Run weekly project scheduling calls and participates in identifying and resolving scheduling issues or requests for the teams.
  • Identify, manage, resolve, and mitigate key risks and issues impacting the project delivery.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development department to on-board audit staff and train on administrative procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with firm's operation team, including IT, as audit administrative representative in key firm initiatives to drive process improvement and automation for the department
  • Lead regular audit process improvement workshops with administrative team and professional staff.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, accounting or finance preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in resource management, workforce planning, or related roles at a professional services firm
  • Experience in managing and allocating human and material resources efficiently.
  • Familiarity with workforce scheduling and capacity planning.
  • Motivated to make a meaningful impact on our firm and to develop oneself professionally
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.

  • Extensive experience working in a remote work environment, preferably in a professional service firm

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000
