Maintenance Supervisor

Scope of Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide leadership in safety compliance, BSP and safety training.

  • Provide technical support and leadership to facilitate the development and performance of the maintenance department.

  • Prioritize and assign daily work and PMs (directly for the I&E Technicians, with oversite for the mechanical and electrical maintenance Teams.

  • Review scheduled work with team members to ensure all aspects of work and scope are clearly understood and executed to plan.

  • Establish and own KPI's to ensure effective execution to defined plans.

  • Work closely with maintenance planner to foster efficient scheduling and workflow, KPI's and procedures.

  • Assist with contractor management and safety.

  • Perform repairs on building and manufacturing equipment.

  • Collect and record work order data to help drive a preventative and predictive maintenance program which reduces unplanned shutdowns and ultimately enhances overall reliability and product quality.

  • Consistently and fairly apply plant policies, including progressive discipline.

  • Encourage teamwork and cooperation within the team and between departments.

  • Drive improvements to manufacturing and building equipment and promote good housekeeping methods.

  • Interact across all plant departments/leadership to ensure high level of service.

  • Direct reports include I&E Technicians, and Maintenance Coordinators.

  • Accountable for all maintenance Team Leads and Technicians.

  • Commitment to safety and the environment.

  • Ability to plan, organize, lead, coach and develop resources.

  • Ability to sort and analyze data to detect and improve failure trends.

Education and Licensing Requirements:

A 2-year Technical Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is required with at least 5+ years of experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:

5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical and electrical background.

Proficient PC/Microsoft skills.

SAP a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Available to work 1st shift.

Flexible for night and weekend call-ins for Technical support as required.

Ability to lift to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
