What's in it for You:

The ChampoinX Houston Internship Program is a 10-12 week-long development program that exposes college students to product lines, job functions, and business processes within the organization. Guided by a manager and mentor, interns will work on value-add projects with tangible objectives and will present their achievements at the end of the summer. Interns will be incorporated into various aspects of the department which may include technical training, office, shop & manufacturing environments, and testing/field operations. The internship program will also provide opportunities to network, participate in social events, and develop professional skills.

What You Will Do:

  • The duties of the intern while supporting the department will mimic those of the department. This includes reports, analysis, testing, documentation, audits, design, and communication both internally and externally where appropriate.

Scope of Project - Supply Chain/Inventory Managment

  • Develop reports, analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, to support informed decisions regarding stock levels and procurement.

  • Support inventory audits.

  • Support purchasing process based on inventory levels.

  • Assist in the implementation of Lean improvements.

Minimum Requirements

  • A student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineer

  • Available for a May 21 start internship

  • Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
