Job DetailsLead, Technical Services Plasma
The Lead, Technical Services Plasma position will provide technical expertise in the delivery of software provisioning, integration, customization, and implementation services for customers of Haemonetics. The candidate will lead the Technical Services team to achieve consistent installations with customers of varying demands and challenges.. The candidate will be proficient with database technologies, and ultimate team players by providing mentoring, and support of escalations with the team members they work with.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The incumbent will be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
- Lead, mentor, and support teammates in the delivery of Technical Services
- Provide and support appropriate life/work balance
- Delegate tasks and review service delivery
- Serve as a Technical SME (subject matter expert) for one or more Haemonetics products
- Provide technical problem resolution for urgent/escalated issues
- Administers, creates, maintains and monitors the client facing application platform.
- Designs & implements relational database schema using normalization principles.
- Designs and manages database-level security and access control.
- Designs, creates and maintains procedures according to established guidelines.
- Develops automation scripts for monitoring and maintaining the platform, databases and applications
- Documents server access for all systems.
- Establishes backup and restore procedures.
- Installs, maintains, and monitors software and hardware while troubleshooting technical problems as they arise.
- Manages platform configuration changes.
- Performs capacity planning.
- Performs data conversions, as well as installations and upgrades for products and database servers.
- Performs DBA activities in accordance with the defined procedures.
- Performs platform backups and restores.
- Plans, performs and documents installation qualifications.
- Provides 24x7 software and hardware support for production systems.
- Researches, tests, and applies database and OS software patches.
- Troubleshoots performance problems, conducts performance tuning.
- Writes and debugs PL/SQL scripts and stored procedures.
EDUCATION
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree required In Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related discipline
EXPERIENCE
- Experience Level: 5 years minimum in Oracle database or Linux system administration required
