The Software Engineer Intern position is responsible for the design, development, and testing of select area(s) of various web and desktop applications at Enclos. Enclos is actively recruiting Computer Science students who are looking for an opportunity to gain experience within a software development life cycle.

Learning Opportunities Will Include:
  • Full stack web application development as assigned, working within a software development team.
  • Exposure to the latest frameworks from Microsoft (.NET 6) and Apple (Swift).
  • Learning about the manufacturing and construction industries
  • Tackling a variety of tasks and needs arise.
  • Learn software development processes.
  • Gain experience researching and implementing new technologies.
  • Exposure to custom integrations with Autodesk products.
  • Engage with various team members to accomplish their work and duties and build an understanding of the team's dynamics in a collaborative team setting.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to write code which adheres to designs supporting business requirements.
  • Possesses and leverages fundamental knowledge of the Microsoft .NET platform (specifically C#) including standard concepts, practices, and procedures in Java, SQL, and C#.
  • Ability to write unit tests for debugging and testing of their own work.
  • Ability to estimate level of effort for individual work.
  • Fundamental understanding of internet concepts including website design and accessing data via web APIs.
  • Experience in, or willingness to learn: Javascript, Swift, Blazor, CSS.
  • Ability to develop and manage code within a controlled environment (GitHub).
  • Researches, investigates, and fixes a wide range of technical issues.
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree (preferrably in their junior or senior year).
  • Ability to interact with mutiple teams on a cross-functional level.
  • Self-starter, who is well organized and has a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, both written and verbally.
  • Must possess good analytical and organizational skills.
Internship Schedule:
  • This position will be located in our corporate offices located in Eagan, MN (remote working not available).
  • Our ideal candiate will have the ability to work 40 hours durring the summer and a minimum of 15 hours during the school year.
Benefits:

Internship status position is not eligible for benefits, holiday pay, or Flexible Time Off (FTO). Full benefits will become available once the position is transferred to a permanent status.
