Aires has a paid Information Technology (IT) Co-op/Intern opportunity available in our Pittsburgh, PA corporate office.
The Co-op will work closely with the application support and development teams, business users and clients on the operations and support of our proprietary applications. Additionally, the IT Intern will be responsible for the configuration of applications to meet client requirements and deadlines, along with handling day to day support tasks, troubleshooting, deployments, and documentation.
Position Responsibilities:

Create custom online forms and menus using XML and SQL

Develop PL/SQL scripts to customize our applications and manipulate data

Analyze specifications to gain a full understanding of system requirements

Design, develop and execute test cases in order to verify the software works as intended

Accurately and thoroughly document defects discovered during testing

Validate defects have been fixed correctly
Qualifications:

Minimum Sophomore status - junior or senior preferred, with significant coursework in study of computer science or equivalent field; or in the second year of a 2 year technical school in pursuit of a similar degree

Track record of achievement - high GPA (3.0 or above), extracurricular or volunteer activities

Understanding of basic SQL
